Charms Lesson one Empty
PostSubject: Charms Lesson one   Charms Lesson one EmptyMon Sep 12, 2011 1:55 am

Scar entered class with Tutle the turtle seated on her shoulder and sat down listeningto the professors lecture...and slowly falling asleep.
Tutle noticed this was growing anxiey due to the angle Scars head was drooping, causing her turtle to slip onto her sleeve and hold herself tightly, her wrinkled head hiding in her shell.
Scarlet was now completely zonked out.
In her dreams she saw flashes of red and green..and penguins..ohhh she hated penguins...
Her pink curls framing her face as she slept tickled her nose and she felt the urge to sneeze in her dream.
There was no time for that though, because there was a candy cane poking her side.
Huh..? Oh..it was a dream...
She awoke with a start, seeing a wand poking her side and looked into the person who had awoken hers eyes... before quickly bowing her head and sneezing, effectively hitting her head on the desk and wincing, jerking her knees up in surprise and hitting those as well.
Tutle, poor Tutle, had been shaken around quite a but due to this was was now trembling and clinging her Scarletes sleeve, eyes wide and wrinkles wrinkly.
"Oh Tutle, I'm sorry...." her soft voice attempted to sooth her pet as she scooped the tiny, shivering turtle into her palm.
Tutle gave her a look that plainly said "You're friggin insane....all of you...insane..."
Scarlet bit her lip and rubbed her aching head with her free hand before looking at the owner of the poking wand.
"I assume you wanted something?" she asked curiously, trying to fight off her social awkwardness.

Alliana rather enjoyed Charms, and so that was why she was actually looking enthused and not bored out of her mind when she wandered through the doors of the classroom. After sitting through a couple of minutes of the class though, then it was a different story. She could barely attempt at keeping her attention on the professor and instead focused on things around the classroom, and briefly on the faces of her classmates.

What did catch her attention the most though was the pink haired girl on the side of her that she hadn't seen before, and one of her eyebrows arched when she noticed the girl had fallen asleep. She snuck a glance up to the Professor but figured he wouldn't even realize it, so she left the girl alone. For a little while at least.

When the girl's head began drooping Alliana had to do her best not to giggle, a smirk decorating her lips in amusement. So eventually she took her wand and gently prodded the girl in the side to encourage her to wake up, before she began drooling or something. Besides, her pet turtle wasn't looking too excited with the twist of events. What Alli hadn't expected was for the girl to open her eyes and promptly sneeze, sending her head crashing into the desk with her knees.

She blinked rapidly, her mouth dropping open in shock. The noise had drawn the attention of some of the others but they all looked back ahead of them with a bored expression. "Are you uh.. ok?" She began, but then the girl was asking her a question and she shrugged. "Not really. Was just trying to prevent... what actually just happened." She said this sheepishly and smirked apologetically.

Alexander found himself lounging in the seat next to his sister, half paying attention to the lesson but more or less paying attention to the exchange going on between Alliana and the pink-haired girl next to her. His eyes traveled from the front of the classroom back to them, but eventually he settled for watching his paper, his quill tapping out an absent pattern onto it.

Alliana was giving him looks but he blatantly ignored her. Things between himself and his sister hadn't been terrific but he knew it was his fault. Sighing he began to scrawl out some random notes on the piece of parchment in front of him.

He had almost no motivation this morning. Sneaking a glance back to the duo, he realized that the two were talking and his brow rose. Not that he wanted to be included, but at least it was something to listen to besides the boring talk of the Professor.

Charms Lesson one Empty

Ian had overslept by a few minutes and had been running behind all day because of it. He made his way to the charms room and attempted to sneak into the room without being noticed. Thankfully the professor seemed completely absorbed in whatever was being scribbled on the board that he managed to slink in and take a seat. He saw Alli and Alex and made his way over to them since they were the only familiar faces. He waved at Alli casually with a smile on his face as he took a seat behind Alex .

He was closer to the female Stone twin, in fact despite being in the same house Ian had never actually talked to Alex before. But Alli was talking to another girl and he didn't want to interrupt whatever was going on there. He tried to whisper lowly as to not draw any attention to himself from the teacher. "Hey dude, what are we supposed to be doing?"
