Historical Yet Humble Office Empty

Sarith wasn't exactly miffed about having only one office while his fellow Head of Houses had two, one for their classes and the other for their Head duties. But he really didn't care. One location was good enough.

The interior was of a moderate size for two people to work and it did remind him of his old office quarters during his tenure in the ICW's R&D. A simple desk next to a large cabinet that was enchanted to keep the Butterbeer and Gillywater drinks cold. And near the fireplace was a couch that was unfortunately occupied by someone that Sarith thought should be elsewhere.

"And here I thought lazing on the job was one way to be reprimanded and terminated." Sarith remarked out loud as he scribbled some lines onto his notes for the next lecture.

The green-haired immortal may have enjoyed being in the library but once it was time to close up, she wasn't going to spend time in the company of books and shelves. It was why she decided to grace her old friend with her presence even if he was sometimes annoyed.

"The library is closed and there's nothing else for me to." Cataline drawled. "It's late past the students' curfew so there's no logic to having the library open at those times."

She then added. "So how was class?"

Sarith begrudgingly conceded that Cataline brought a logical point and he hated to be side-stepped like that on what he didn't know and proven wrong on. Sighing a bit, he had half the temptation of ordering pizza and have one of the school's house elves put in in the locked library. That way, Cataline wouldn't be lounging around in his office. Alas, Sarith knew full well that food and drink aren't permitted.

"Class is the same as usual." Sarith replied. "I sure hope that I don't bore them to sleep the way Binns did."
