Valentina wasn't thrilled with the idea of her first day of classes once again, but she supposed it was better then sitting around in complete boredom. Her first class of the day was Dueling and this was at least interesting to her, so she didn't mind rolling out of bed and pulling on her less-then-appealing robes, grabbing her book bag and wand, and wandering toward the classroom. She wasn't completely familiar with the castle so it was a shock to her that she didn't get lost, arriving... early? It was a good thing other students began filing in moments after herself, because otherwise she would have felt like such a nerd. Exhaling through her lips she took a seat and smiled briefly in greeting to the teacher. A few minutes later, and the class began.
She listened to the blonde woman - who introduced herself as Professor Vega - speak, nodding to show that she was being attentive. When she began to demonstrate the basic stance for dueling, Valentina's eyes wandered along her body in order to make sure she got every single angle and arch of her body correct.
Listening as Professor Vega finished speaking, Valentina figured, why the hell not? Hand offering up into the air, she said almost lazily, "Professor Vega? I'm Valentina, and I'll volunteer to show the stance." She said. If someone else offered up as well she'd let them do it, but why not try? She didn't mind attention, and she had practiced it a couple of times before coming to class. Yes, maybe she was more of a nerd then she'd originally wanted to admit.
