Lesson One

Elizabeth stood in front of the blackboard, writing down certain phrases that pertained to the lesson.

"Welcome," she said as she heard the bell ring, "to History of Muggles. I hope you all will be respectful to each other during the course of the year."

She finished writing down her list and set the chalk down. Walking away from the blackboard, she said, "This class is based solely on your participation. I don't want to stand and talk at you, probably just like you don't want to be lectured. Before class begins, are there any questions?"

Alliana was excited that the end of her last year was drawing closer. She enjoyed school, but she was even more excited to see how life was out of it. She'd be turning eighteen, and everything would be so daunting yet interesting all at once.... she knew this wasn't the best things to begin thinking about on her way to her first class of the day. She didn't want to be distracted already. She exhaled slowly to clear her thoughts as she walked into her Muggle Studies classroom.

Taking a seat toward the middle she set out her supplies, looking up as the teacher began to speak. She nodded briefly to the introduction and kept quiet then the woman asked if there were any questions, because she didn't have any.

Sitting back in her seat with her quill in hand and resting on the desk, she waited for the rest of the class to begin.

Patrick slipped into class, a smirk on his face. He took this class only because it would be an easy O. That smirk turned into a smile when he saw that Alli was in his class. Pam came in behind him, glowering at the fact that she had to get up early.

He sat down next to Alli, kissing her softly on the cheek. "Hey Kitten," he said with a smile.

The professor asked if there was any questions and Pat was glad to say that he had none.

Alliana inclined her head to the side and blinked in surprise when she noticed her boyfriend sliding in next to her. Immediately she smiled and perked up, her cheeks flushing a pretty pink when he kissed her on the cheek. "Hey Bear." She responded almost immediately. Their nicknames for one another never would get old, she decided.

Turning her attention back to the teacher for a moment, she placed her quill down, seeing what else was going to be said. She placed a hand absently on the top of Pat's leg underneath the table so the action would go unnoticed to everyone but them. She gave it a gentle squeeze while reclining back in her chair, letting it linger there for a couple of moments.

She always liked having classes with her boyfriend, and besides.. she'd taken this class mostly because he was a Muggle and she wanted to learn more. That, and it did seem interesting.

Pam hated the fact that she was pregnant, but she hated coming to classes even more. All she wanted to do was lie on her bed and sleep the whole day away.

Pat had slipped in to the seat beside Alli, while she had snuck into the back of the room. She really wanted to just leave.

Luckily, she didn't have any questions--otherwise she'd be here all day.
