Evaina couldn't exactly believe that she'd actually taken up a teaching job at Hogwarts. Never before had she taught an actual class, but this thought wasn't daunting to her in the least. She liked challenges, and she knew she wouldn't have a single problem handling any of the students. She had that much confidence in herself that everything would work out just fine. She'd applied for the job as the Potions teacher because it was an enjoyable class, but not only that, it also had a hint of danger to it. One wrong mixture and something could go quite wrong. Running her fingers through her long black hair, she made her way down to the Dungeons with the intentions of fixing up her office. She didn't mind it's location, it was actually rather nice to know that not many people came down here unless they had to.
Seeing as she hadn't attended Hogwarts she wasn't extremely familiar with the castle at all, and it took her awhile to figure out where she was going. Soon her heels were clicking down the hallway toward her office though, and she smiled slightly with satisfaction when she stopped near the door with the engraved sign -
Professor Moore.. She wasn't sure she'd ever get used to that title. She probably wouldn't even respond to it the first couple of times the students used it, but that just made her chuckle in amusement as she reached out to let herself in.
Pushing the door open, she frowned when she was met with her bland surroundings. Well, this certainly wouldn't do. Twirling her wand in between her index and middle fingers, she considered how she wanted to decorate the place before she got to work. No more then fifteen minutes later and the place looked spectacular. Wandering over she took a seat on her chair, crossing one of her legs as she sat back to observe her work. Everything looked good..
She was just about to start looking through the papers that had been left on her desk when a knock on the door caused her to glance up. Smoothing down her blouse, she sat up a bit straighter before calling out, "Come on in!"
